DBR021 Dope Tito ft Raa D and Immortal - Move Like ThisRemixes Coming from BACKDRAFT, KID DIGITAL & JOURNEYMAN V's BARRCODE

This comes fresh from British Colombia's finest DOPE TITO aka DJ BRAT & VAN TEK with over 20 years DJing experience and several years producing together, these guys have come on leaps and bounds over the few years and it's set to get even better, with remixes completed for the likes of GENERAL LEVY, LEONSKI & M.I.A and are now all
awaiting release.

DJ SUPPORT FROM THIS RELEASE:

I'm loving the Backdraft Mix and will support that badboy for sure! Also, Kid Digital's mix will keep the party going as well. Great release! - THE CRYSTAL METHOD

Thanks for the tunes. Dropping the Journeyman and Barrcode remix....Nice! - JIMMY MOFO

Backdraft remix is heavy...love the wobble! - FAR TOO LOUD

Really liking the Backdraft and Kid Digital mixes of this - packing a lot of punch! - SPLITLOOP

Both Journeyman/Barrcode and Kid Digital remixes sounds dope... Cheers - PEO DE PITTE

Digging the original, got a cool deep groove and the rap keeps it rolling without it being too distracting - sweet! The Backdraft remix takes the pips from the rest, love the womps and the off kilter beat - messy times! - LLUPA

My favourites are the original and the kid digital remix, both are heavy hittin bangerz as i like! Great package!!! - B-PHREAK

B-Phreak - Shooked

DUSTED BREAKS 20TH RELEASE - EXTRA SPECIAL PACKAGE AND COLLABORATION WITH DEAD FAMOUS RECORDINGS!

Dusted Breaks are pleased to kick off their relationship with a producer who's studio seems to have moved to an industrial bulding site of late!! Whilst Bernie has never been shy of tough beats and big bass, he has taken all he did in previous years and smashed it out of the park to bring on the heaviest gut wrenching beats and twisted teeth grinding basslines, that only the most hardened clubber will be able to take! Both Shooked & Bulletproof give you no choice but to play them loud and are both relentless in their ability to get yo ass up and dance!

For the remix Dusted Breaks wanted something really special to complement the originals and they don't come any more special than legendary producers VANDAL & SHUT UP AND DANCE.

VANDAL took on the job of remixing Shooked and moves for the more Electro Breaks sound, with a battering ram beat and awesome synth work that manages to shank the tailbones and metertarsals of the unsuspecting dancefloor!! S.U.A.D Basically took all of the original samples that Bernie had offered, screwed them up and threw them in the bin, in favour of bringing in the THE RAGGA TWINS and turning the tune into a broken dubbed up party banger that you will automatically recognize as SHUT UP AND DANCE!

Lee Coombs “Vandal Remix is slammin! Will use this for sure!!”

Splitloop "I like what the Shut Up and Dance guys have done with it, it's mental but really solid. Out of the package I like the original of Bulletproof best, closely followed by the Vandal remix of Shooked"

Run Riot “B-Phreak is HUGE! ALL about the originals for me - right up my street!!”

Drumattic Twins “"Im a big big SUAD fan but the Vandal mix Here is immense....Its like,,,,,its like Pete Tong,,,,makes me wanna go out.....”

OUT NOW :: BEATPORT
Also available at all other good download shops!

DEAD FAMOUS DOUBLE RELEASE INFO:

This go round Dead Famous and Dusted Breaks proudly present 2 wicked releases from B-Phreak, with a host of stellar, and yet, completely different remixes. If you like your head twisted, your feet glued to the floor, your mind expanded, and then destroyed like it was Armageddon, you will definitely find something that suits you on one of these!

ImageB-Phreak – Wavy Gravy (Kid Kenobi / Duane Barry Remixes) [DF31]
OUT NOW :: at Beatport for the next 2 weeks, and then everywhere else afterwards.

After the success of the Dead Famous Remix LP, we’re trying something a bit different this go round. Stepping outside the proverbial dark acid drenched box, we @ Dead Famous are happy to present something a little more outwardly upbeat for the crowd that likes to move. First up, we have B-Phreak’s Wavy Gravy. Fresh of a string of recent well received releases, and a crucial remix for Mesmer’s Scarcity imprint, B-Phreak delivers what he’s most known for – hard ass techy breaks with a dash of drive, a smidgen of funk, and a giant helping of nasty. I’m sayin pull out the bowl of mashed potatoes, because it is indeed that type of party.

On the remix front, we firstly have Kid Kenobi, who has lately returned to the forefront of dance music. While championing a different sound than old breaks heads remember him for, it’s worth noting that the production on his recent big room house tunes is just the same, If not better than what some remember him for. Crafting a giant funky affair that fans of funky as it comes house will love, Kid Kenobi has definitely incorporated a chunk of breaks in this remix to keep the chin strokers happy. Lastly, label head of the stellar Digital Sensation UK, Duane Barry has delivered a remix that is guaranteed to make hands raise all summer long. Turning out a remix that is reminiscent in vibe of old Chable & Bonicci, and coupled with a main build and breakdown that is so massive it can’t even be described properly, Duane continues to push trancey breaks unlike anyone else.

Don't take our word for it, here's what others had to say about the Remix LP:

Karton "Original is nice and tough - DB's remix adds a nice proggy element without losing the energy. Can see both getting a play from us at different times. "

Mr No Hands / Mixmag "Kid’s remix is sicko ravey pants in the garden time!"

Far Too Loud "Original is a filthy filthy banger. Naughty. I like it."

Kultur "Duane Barry has created a marvelous remix, like always !! I will support both in my Kultura Breakz show in the next weeks and also in my live sets."

Kickflip "Yes yes, liking the big bendy bass original here!"

Carol Campos "The original is a true banger, very hard ass indeed! Like it a lot. But the one which is going to have more rotation on my case in the Kid Kenobi mix. Boy, I was missing his tunes! Played alongside him a few years back and was truly missing his stuff... :) Love his remix, a great mix of house and breaks, a transgenre bomb! Top production! "

Maelstrom "Quality ! lovin the SUAD mix and shooked original 7/10"

This won't be their last release for Dusted Breaks either, with more planned late summer 2010. So keep them eyes peeled for the crew coming straight outta Bristol! HOME ALONEAfter more than a decade of playing bass in rock bands across Italy, Dino Z aka Home Alone took it upon himself to learn the crafts of electronic music production. It didn’t take long for acid stalwarts Dead Famous (nominated Best Label at Breakspoll 2010) to take notice of him, and his first release as a techno producer saw the light in January of 2010 in the form of the peak hour warehouse acid vibes of Revolution No. 3 and Get Away From Me. It received positive feedback and support from the techno and breakbeat scenes all over the World!
For 2010 Dino is turning more than prolific, with his original and remixed material set to turn up on some of House and Breakbeats best labels! This is another artist to keep you eyes on! His remix of 'Let Me See You Bounce' is prodominently Techno but with a very nice slice of Broken beats running through it! This has seen plays all over the world from the likes of RETROID (Hungary), DANIELLA DOWNS (USA) & LLUPA (Australia)

HELLFIRE MACHINA Prior to the birth of this project in late 2008. Jody Shires and Tom Williams collectively had over 60 releases under their belts, along with production work for grammy nominated artists, numerous UK top ten remixes, 5 Breakspoll Awards, Best International Dj in the Spanish EDM awards 3 years running and a history in bass culture that is second to none.. The year is now 2010, sonic exploration in the realm of bass fueled riddims is the primary mission for Hellfire Machina. With residencies at New Yorks legendary Club Love, Darkroom in Brooklyn and Psychadelic Radio in SF, it's no wonder these guys are in high demand. Ending last year with A and R and project management credits for the Wu Tang 'Enter The Dubstep' album and a string of singles and remixes, they have hit the ground running in 2010 and this remix, as you would imagine with their pedigree, is dubstep of the highest order!! it has so far won over World Famous names such as CUT LA ROC, THE BEAT ASSASINS, HEXADECIMAL, I.D, BEN & LEX, SCHEMA & more! Hellfire Machina Myspace

BKP and One Man Army - Flippit - Quadrat Beat/Sol8/JOKR remixes (DBR018)
Written by johnselekta

BKP and One Man Army - Flippit DBR018Brett Patman (aka bkp) began producing Breakbeat in 2004 on a Yamaha RS7000, drawing inspiration and motivation to buy the unit after seeing a Whomp live set.
Years passed while Brett locked himself away in his room slaving away to produce mostly breakbeat and eventually receiving praise for his efforts from producers such as Dopamine, Beat Vandals, Nick Thayer, Bass Kleph and most of the Sydney Breakbeat scene.
His track 'Little Bit Closer' was featured on the 2006 Nuskool Breaks unsigned showcase and was well received by DJ's, producers and punters alike from all over the world.
Brett is also one of the faces behind the Sydney arm of the successful Perth based promotions/artist agency/label 'Destination?' which was originally founded by Signaldrivers.
Brett can be found playing behind the decks at his monthly 'Destination?' residency at The Cross supporting names like Groove Diggerz, JHZ, Koma & Bones, Miles Dyson, NAPT, Clive Morley and Dopamine. to find out more about bkp, check out his myspace page Here: bkp MYSPACE

Quadrat Beat are Sergey and Eugene Lobanovsky. They need very little introduction in the world of breakbeat and are fresh from playing an awesome set at the 2010 breakspoll awards! The project was born in 2008 when Eugene received a musical education. The brothers showed a great interest in breaks music and have started to search for their own sound. In May of 2008 they released their first track 'The Legend' which received many positive responses from DJ's all over the world! About one year later and they continued to make new tracks and many great remixes on labels such as APE Music, Subtribe, 13Breakz & Dusted Breaks! 2010 will see the brothers continue their great success, with lots of new material so keep em peeled for the boys from Latvia! SOL8 (aka SOL and 108) met in Toronto and perform a mix of East coast North American and Japanese electro. They are young up and coming artists and they have a fresh new dirty electro sound that has been getting attention all over Tokyo. They can now be found in clubs like Womb and Seco in Shibuya. They opened the last Tokyo Underground party in Seoul and absolutely rocked the discoteque before even the main DJ, SONPUB reached the stage. Their next appearance in Seoul is eagerly anticipated! This is their first ever release as SOL8 and now they have teamed up with the same management as Eshericks, expect seriously good things in 2010 from these guys! SOL8 MYSPACE

J*OK*R (aka Joe Kapiche & Ollie Rubicks) Formed In mid 2008 but it wasn't until the start of 2009 when we at Dusted Breaks snapped up 'Salad Shaker' & 'Dr.Oetker' that these guys started to get recognised as a seriously talented duo! We liked them so much, we signed a 3rd track called 'On Point' after only a brief listen on their internet radio show for Brap F.m! Those 3 releases alone, gained Support in the form of The Plump DJ's/Kickflip/Kid Blue/Generl Midi amongst others! J*O*K*R have also recently reignited their love affair with South Coast labels and have 'Snaggle Tooth' out on Kiss My Bass Records, plus they have a number of things up their sleeve for later in the year, so stay tuned to them, because the future is lookin very bright for the J*O*K*R boys! J*O*K*R MYSPACE
